Blog February 26th
Well this is my February 26th blog post. I have been busy the last few days. Things are getting ready to be even busier. I need to make a week plan and setup reminders for this week. Last week I purchased more cow poo.
So these are my tasks this week
- make more natural fertilizers and document the processes
- fertilize trees and grape vines
- start more garden seeds
- clear beds for more garden plants
- work on faceting stones to sell
- clear clutter in my rooms and workshops
- improve my organization
- do art skill practice with lighter skin tones
- mow and remove weeds from lawn
- Check and revise my 12 week year plan.
And there you have it.
Now about education in art
I started mucking with oil paints with two paint by number kits in grammar school. In high school, in the 1960’s it was all about the impressionist. Like these two styles.

But the art books and teachers ignored this artist. His name William Bouguereau. My older sister’s art books had zero – zip – the null set about him. I did not find out about him till 2015!

I did at the same time find out about this artist Daniel Greene and his works of art. I really likes his works and got his DVD’s to learn how he did his works. He is a mixture of Bouguereau and John Singer Sargent. I have seen both of these artists works in person.

The summary, so I need to practice art today and plant seeds! More Daniel Greene.

This post is in memory of Daniel Greene. May those who like his style paint on.
