Cutting the Cord: Ditching Social Media Links for a Cleaner Online Presence
I am still learning WordPress. Today, I editing my WordPress theme to ditch social media links images that came with my website. Thus, I started cutting the cord. I am ditching the links to many social media applications, I no longer use or never used. I never setup links to them any way. My reason to remove these links and symbols follows this line of thought. They donated millions to help elect an authoritarian person I can’t stand. I will not be a useful idiot to these billionaires. I will not use their symbols on my websites.
Thus the Stonedpony now has a Cleaner Online Presence
Consequently, I was unknowingly a useful idiot. How about yourself? I have written about companies I no longer use like UPS and Johnson & Johnson. Today, I am expanding this list based on a list I saw who donated to Mr Piggy and project 2025.

Obviously, we have sports teams, fast food, food producers, Big Oil, Grocery stores and many service companies! This list surprised me. Some of these were already on my ban list. Others are now joining them. Some of these were already on my avoid list any way cause I did not like their products. So there you have it.
The only social media I will be adding is BlueSky once I figure out out to do this in WordPress and my theme. You know the social media names of the ones I am avoiding.
