Super bowl Sundays and rainy Mondays

So Here we go.  Today is a rainy Monday and yesterday was the super bowl on Sunday.  We could not find the super bowl on YouTube, even after signing up for NFL streaming!  That sucked!  the rain today made me think of the Carpenter’s song.  The wonderful voice of Karen Carpenter!  I found out it was written by Paul Williams and Roger Nichols.  It was about depression and feeling blue.  I don’t feel depressed.  I just feel tired today.

Karen Carpenter a great singer

So Here are the Lyrics.

“Rainy Days And Mondays”
Talkin’ to myself and feelin’ old
Sometimes I’d like to quit
Nothing ever seems to fit
Hangin’ around
Nothing to do but frown
Rainy Days and Mondays always get me down

What I’ve got they used to call the blues
Nothin’ is really wrong
Feelin’ like I don’t belong
Walkin’ around
Some kind of lonely clown
Rainy Days and Mondays always get me down

The Super bowl

We did not get to watch it cause it was suppose to be on YouTube NFL.  Well that sucked.  So I went to bed early.  Today we have rain.  I have outside work to do and inside work to do.  So I need to get going.  I just wanted to post on the blog.  Cause it gets me going. I need some motivation today.  Yesterday, I worked on stones and had to deal with getting my sister-in-laws stuff packed and in her car.  Altogether, it was a a stressful situation for us.  Enough said on this subject.

Now getting back to work

Yesterday, I got back to working on my faceting projects as time is running out on my plans.  I will post some pictures as the stones develop more. The project calls for two 6mm stones in yellow sapphire.  I have the settings.  Today, I will remeasure the stones I am working on and make adjustments as needed.  As always, the blog continues my practice writing.  The other stone I am working on is a nice large piece of clear quartz being cut in the Portuguese design. It will be a huge stone.
